Each year Wilmington Knights of Columbus, choose a non-profit to be the beneficiary, of Oktoberfest. This year we are honored to say that Wilmington Schools Foundation was chosen.  Wilmington Schools Foundation will use these funds to help with our Foundation Grants, given out each year. For the 2015-2016 school year 31 grants were given for a total just under $21,000.00. Wilmington Schools Foundation’s Grant program provides the opportunity for applicants to receive funding for creative and impact full ideas for classrooms and for the educational environment of students, faculty, and staff.

Oktoberfest is September 25 and 26.  Friday Texas Hold’em starts at 6 to 11. Saturday events will start at 3-11. New this year to Oktoberfest is a Cruise-In, Authentic German Meals, and Video Game Truck.   Saturday night “Reeking Havoc” will be playing starting at 8. There will be many card games and games of chance going on throughout Saturday. What is an Oktoberfest without a little “Chicken Dance.” So if you are in town make sure you stop by and support the Foundation!!
